Best Thesis Award

Our former PhD student, Adrien Petralia, has won the Think Smartgrids PhD Thesis Award for his work on “Deep Learning for Electricity Consumption Time Series Analytics”. Adrien developed innovative methods that leverage modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to improve electricity consumption data analysis. Adrien’s solutions are now part of the EDF’s offerings, enabling millions of customers to better manage their electricity consumption and achieve savings. This marks the 8th PhD award for an alumni of the diNo group in the last 7 years (following Mohamed Bouadi, Qitong Wang, Paul Boniol (4), and Michele Linardi). This continued success highlights the strong tradition of excellence and impact of our research in the fields of data science and AI.
